On Friday night, President Donald Trump remarked that NFL teams should fire players who protest the National Anthem. On Sunday morning, Trump took to Twitter, telling his followers to boycott the NFL.
If NFL fans refuse to go to games until players stop disrespecting our Flag & Country, you will see change take place fast. Fire or suspend!

…NFL attendance and ratings are WAY DOWN. Boring games yes, but many stay away because they love our country. League should back U.S.

The comments emboldened the players and led to wide-spread protests on this the last Sunday of September.
Players can do what they want as is their right but, did President Trump goad the players into the expanded protests today? You see today (Sunday, September 24) is Gold Star Mother’s Day across the U.S.A. President Trump issued the proclamation yesterday.
No one understands the true price of freedom made by our military heroes more than our Gold Star Mothers and Families. As a veteran, IMHO NFL players picked the wrong day to expand the protests of the National Anthem.
