Major League Baseball Strikes Out with Fans in 2018

Major League Baseball attendance dropped 4 percent in 2018, continuing a steady decline in attendance for the sport known as “America’s Pastime.” It’s the lowest attendance since 2003 and the largest single-season drop in more than 10 years. Barry Svrluga at the Washington Post says this is due to the lack of hitting and rise of strikeouts.

Attendance though is about the dollars in revenue. This begs the question, has going to baseball games gotten too expensive? What do you think?
