Bernie Sanders Calls for Elimination of Private Health Insurance

On MSNBC MSDNC, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) called for the elimination of private health insurance and to “get rid of the insurance companies” while defending his “Medicare for All” proposal.

Medicare annually is the largest denier of health care claims in the USA. Medicare costs are also far higher than private insurance.

Since ObamaCare was enacted, my health care costs have risen 400+%.

The key to reducing health care costs is encouraging competition similar to what was done with Medicare Part D overhaul. As John Stossel showed here on 20/20, more government involvement in the health care market equates to higher costs for the consumer.
