Tiger Woods Roars Again at The Masters

Tiger Woods came from behind to win the Masters at a rainy Augusta National on Sunday, completing one of the greatest career comebacks in the history of golf. This was the first time Tiger Woods won a Major golf tournament when trailing after 54 holes.

About a year and a half ago, Tiger Woods was ranked 1,199 in the world, his body was shot, his reputation was wrecked & nobody gave him a chance of winning a major again. Two years ago at Augusta National, Tiger needed a nerve block just to hobble upstairs to the Champions’ Dinner, unsure he would ever play another round of golf.

Now, Tiger Woods is a Masters champion again.

I was glued to my TV yesterday morning after church when Tiger was on number 7. When Francesco Molinari hit the water on 12, I tweeted.

From number 12 on, Tiger hit every shot solid including his amazing tee shot on 16 which gave him a two shot lead with two holes to play.

It’s been 14 years since he last won the Masters (a record I believe for length between green jackets), and nearly 11 years since his last major, the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines on a broken left leg.

The celebration was in a word magnificent. I agree with this tweet here.

Is this the comeback for the ages? I think it is. What about you?
