Yesterday, 150 firefighters responded to a rapidly-spreading fire in a five-story building under construction off North Kings Highway in Fairfax County near our home.

Yesterday, 150 firefighters responded to a rapidly-spreading fire in a five-story building under construction off North Kings Highway in Fairfax County near our home. The conflagration was located up on the hill across from Alexandria, Virginia in the 2800 block of Poag Street in the old Penn Daw Shopping Center.

Above shows the large smoke cloud from my window which showed up on weather radar. Here’s some great video from the massive fire.
