Kathleen Sebelius: Everyone Will Pay For Abortions (Video)

For those of you that think Senator Nelson caved because Senator Harry Reid discarded the abortion language in the current health care legislation pending before the Senate, guess again. The cowardly Senator from Nebraska caved because he got a promise of unlimited help from the federal government free of charge when the legislation does become law and Medicaid is seriously expanded beyond what the states can afford.

Ed Morrissey at HotAir.com has the details on a recent interview that the tax cheating HHS Secretary gave recently where she opened up about the hidden abortion fees in the new legislation.

[...] everybody in the exchange would do the same thing, whether you’re male or female, whether you’re 75 or 25, you would all set aside a portion of your premium that would go into a fund, and it would not be earmarked for anything, it would be a separate account that everyone in the exchange would pay.

[...]

Okay. It is a bit confusing, but it’s really an accounting that would apply across the board and not just to women, and certainly not just to women who want to choose abortion coverage.

Ed writes:

It’s only confusing if you bought Ben Nelson’s dodge that Reid had changed the abortion-funding language in any significant way. If the government forces it citizens to pay into premium exchanges and then controls the distribution of that money, then it becomes a public fund in any interpretation. That’s especially true if its intent is to be a slush fund for bureaucrats to apply to whatever purpose they see fit.

Eva Amuri & Zach Gilford Rock The Lies About Health Care (Video)

The falsehoods told by Ms. Amuri, Susan Sarandon’s daughter, and Zach Gilford of Friday Night Light’s in this piece are too numerous to mention. But, this disgusting ad for Rock The Vote which is being targeted at the young people like my daughter, is another example of how those on the left are spreading their hate for America.

My Congressman Is a Moron But Alan Grayson IS Nuts

Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL 8th), is hopping mad because a Republican woman, who may or may not live outside of the idiot Congressman’s district, has created http://www.mycongressmanisnuts.com/.

The Orlando Sentinel reports:

Not everyone thinks imitation is the best form of flattery.

In fact, U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson of Orlando took such offense at a parody website aimed at unseating him that the freshman Democrat has asked that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder investigate the Lake County activist who started the anti-Grayson website “mycongressmanisnuts.com.”

Specifically, Grayson accuses Republican activist Angie Langley of lying to federal elections. His four-page complaint highlights the fact that the Clermont resident lives outside his district, but that Langley still uses the term “my” in “mycongressmanisnuts.com.”

“Ms. Langley has deliberately masqueraded as a constituent of mine, in order to try to create the false appearance that she speaks for constituents who don’t support me,” writes Grayson. “[She] has chosen a name for her committee that is utterly tasteless and juvenile.”

Grayson’s office did not respond with comment other than to confirm the letter exists — including its request that Langley be fined and “imprisoned for five years.”

This is the same man who has made a name for himself going after the Federal Reserve, warned Americans about the GOP plan for health care, and told former Vice President Dick Cheney to STFU.

During an after-hours House floor speech, Grayson said the GOP health care plans consists of: Part one, don’t get sick. Part two, if you do get sick, die quickly. “That’s right,” Grayson said, “the Republicans want you to die quickly if you get sick….This is what the Republicans want you to do.” Which of course is a complete fabrication of the truth.

I used to think that my Congressman, Jim Moran (D-Va 8th) was the worst Congressman in the House but, this guy is closing in fast to join our moronic Congressman. Getting upset and going bonkers over a website dedicated to you clearly shows that Grayson can dish it out but can’t take the heat when even the slightest bit of pressure is put upon them. Grayson definitely MUST have a screw loose somewhere in order to send Atty General Eric Holder a letter over this. I guess that just leaves one thing to say to Congressman Grayson:

If you can’t take the heat then heed your own advice and STFU.

Vegas: ChinChili Day Part 1 – Funniest Commercial of 2009 #1 (Video)

This commercial was voted the second funniest commercial in TBS’ recent poll of the funniest commercials of the year. As I said before, I judge these on how much they make me laugh and each time I see this commercial, it just makes me laugh out loud. Kudos to the E-trade baby and a fairly humorous Monster.com commercial but, this one takes the prize this year.

The commercial is part of Las Vegas’ series of commercials titled ‘What’s your excuse?’ In this commercial, an employee creates a fake holiday, Chinchilli Day, as an excuse to stay an extra day in Vegas (see below). This commercial is also the only one (at least that I know of) that spawned a sequel (see second video).

Enjoy.

It’s sequel. This time, the boss wants an extra day so he invents a french version of ChinChili Day.

The bottom line is that you need to get to Vegas. What’s your excuse?

Bud Light Drinkability: Funniest Commercial Of 2009 #2 (Video)

After many hours of viewing various commercials on YouTube, there are many that could be ranked in the second spot but none that made me laugh like this one.

This is part of the Bud Light: Drinkability campaign that started on or around Super Bowl 43. Here, two guys compare Bud Light’s drinkability to skiing with hilarious results.

Enjoy.

Ray Stevens: We The People (Video)

With the news that ObamaCare is imminent now that Senator Ben Nelson (D-Neb) has been bought off by Senator Harry ‘the Body’ Reid,’ Ray Stevens is out with a new catchy tune titled ‘We The People.’

The singer of ‘Misty’ and ‘The Streak’ wants to tell our politicians in Washington that if they vote for ObamaCare, they WILL be voted out. My favorite line is:

‘If you had the common sense God gave a billy goat, you’d no doubt notice that your constituents, the electorate, that’s US VOTERS, are on to your pork barrel, special interest, tax and spend scam. Or to put it more succintly….’

It’s really too bad the Congressmen and Senators have lost their common sense.

Fourth Trimester Abortions – Protected in Virginia?

This is just plain sick. It is unconscionable that the Commonwealth of Virginia could allow this to happen. A woman in Campbell County, Virginia smothered her newborn infant, and police are powerless to do anything about it:

The caller said a woman in her early 20s was in labor. When deputies arrived, they discovered the baby had actually been born around 1:00a.m., about ten hours earlier. Investigators say the baby was already dead when deputies got there.

Investigators tell WSLS the baby’s airway was still blocked. They say the baby was under bedding and had been suffocated by her mother. Investigators say because the mother and baby were still connected by the umbilical cord and placenta, state law does not consider the baby to be a separate life. Therefore, the mother cannot be charged.

“In the state of Virginia as long as the umbilical cord is attached and the placenta is still in the mother, if the baby comes out alive the mother can do whatever she wants to with that baby to kill it.“, says Investigator Tracy Emerson. “She could shoot the baby, stab the baby. As long as it’s still attached to her in some form by umbilical cord or something it’s no crime in the state of Virginia.“

It’s really sad that the lawmakers in Richmond are so afraid of the abortion industry like Planned Parenthood that they refuse to do anything to change the law. The WSLS report continues:

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office worked unsuccessfully to get the law changed after another baby died in the county in a similar case. Emerson says they asked two delegates and one state senator to take the issue up in the General Assembly. He says the three lawmakers refused because they felt the issue was too close to the abortion issue.

We need Delegates in the Virginia General Assembly who, unlike my Delegate David Englin, don’t advocate for abortion (a.k.a. killing babies) and will take action to protect a child born alive and then killed by the mother.
