Via JWF, MSNBC’s MSDNC’s blowhard Lawrence ‘Larry’ O’Donnell on last night’s The Last Word, had a segment where he spent considerable time berating Ann Romney and called out Mitt Romney and his 5 boys for not serving in the military. I posted about Larry’s fake outrage over Ann Romney’s clothing before.
About Larry’s comments over the ‘Romney men’ dodging serving in the military. They were pretty strange considering that Larry dodged the draft himself (see this link too). I guess Larry was too busy being the bully on the Harvard campus to bother serving?
Larry also spent the last part of the segment daring Tagg Romney to take a swing at him. This is in reference for comments Tagg Romney made about wanting to ‘take a swing’ at President Obama during the debate process. The comment was meant as a joke but, Larry apparently doesn’t have a sense of humor.
OK, Taggart, let’s have a little talk, just you and me, you. When I hear you talk about taking a swing and taking punches, why do I get the feeling that you have never actually taken a punch or thrown a punch? I didn’t have that luxury in the part of Boston that I grew up in. But in your rich suburban Boston life, with your father filling $ 100 million trust fund for you, I don’t know. I just get the feeling that things were kind of different for you.
Now, I know you’ve got a lot — a lot to be pissed off at these days, starting with the name Taggart, which you have every right to be wicked pissed off at for every day of the 42 years of your life. So let me try to help you deal with all this aggression you are feeling right now. You are mad at President Obama for calling your father a liar?
Let’s get something straight. He didn’t call your father a liar. I did. The president just said that what your father said isn’t true. I have been saying all year that your father is a liar. I’ve repeatedly said that your father lies, and is trying to lie his way into the White House.
So you want to take a swing at someone for calling your old man a liar? Take a swing at me. Come on. Come on. And don’t worry, there won’t be any Secret Service involved. Just us. And I’ll make it easy for you. I’ll come to you anytime, anywhere.
Go ahead, Taggart, take your best shot.

Via Newsbusters, Lawrence ‘Larry’ O’Donnell, the late night blowhard on MSNBC MSDNC, spent five minutes last night bashing Ann Romney for wearing a $990 shirt on live TV.
Larry had the gall to say:
“It was instantly recognized by the fashion cognizanti as the Reed Audubon silk shirt, part of the Reid Krakoff 2012 spring/summer collection, and the shirt is available to anyone for a mere $990.”
“Yet another example of how out of touch the Romney family can be with how 99 percent of Americans live.”
Mrs. Obama has worn lavish things as well on TV Larry, where’s your outrage about that?
Via WFB:
The first closet has increasingly become a subject of interest since Michelle Obama swept fashionably into the White House in her Jason Wu ball gown.
Yesterday, Ann Romney’s clothes stole the spotlight as she wore a fashionable top on Tuesday for an appearance with her husband on CBS “This Morning.” Politico reported that the Reed Krakoff shirt would “cost you a pretty penny,” at $990.
But Mrs. Romney will need to step up her fashion game if she wants to fill the shoes of Mrs. Obama.
In March, the first lady visited her British counterpart Samantha Cameron wearing a L’Wren Scott sweater in a trendy bright yellow hue. The embellished cardigan costs $2,720.
Obama, widely regarded as a fashion icon, likes the brand so much that she wore a peach cardigan from the same line last week during the Take Your Child to Work Day festivities.
The next day, she wore another sweater from L’Wren Scott, this one white with red trim from the Spring 2011 ready to wear collection, for a visit to Fort Stewart with the president.
This is all part of the DNC’s strategy which is to create distractions for Mitt Romney to deal with rather than talk about the issues real Americans want to discuss which is jobs and the economy.

GOP Presidential candidate Herman Cain is out with a new book and is currently on a book tour promoting it. For some reason, someone thought it would be good for Herman to go on noted Socialist Larry O’Donnell’s show ‘The Last Word.’
Good thing they did because Cain knocked it out of the park and held his cool against the idiot Socialist. Larry was so bad with this interview that he even tried to berate and shame Herman Cain because Larry believed a passage in Herman’s book says that he ‘stayed on the sidelines’ during the Civil Rights movement. The book doesn’t say that at all. In the book, Herman just says he ‘stayed out of trouble.’
The interview is well worth the time and is below the fold.

Noted socialist Lawrence ‘Larry’ O’Donnell on his ‘Last Word’ program on MSDNC, ripped into Newsweek over their Sarah Palin cover story (Gee Larry, you think they did it because she sells magazines??). He takes it about as well as can be expected as from the looks of things, it’s apparent Larry is suffering a bit of PDS.
Frances Martel at Mediaite writes:
In attacking Newsweek, O’Donnell even went out of his way to compliment Palin in a way she rarely hears from his side of the aisle: “She knows she’s lying when she says ‘I can win’– she’s smart enough to know.” “Newsweek does everything to make the madness of Sarah Palin sound reasonable,” he notes, ripping through sentence after sentence of what he called “the softest treatment the Lamestream Media ever has [given her].” He went on to attack its “pathetic pro-Palin tilt” and “utterly absurdist” conclusions, and conclude that Newsweek negotiated a deal with Palin to put her on the front page in exchange for access, which they feared they could lose if Palin didn’t “trust” them.
Tim Graham at Newsbusters notes:
O’Donnell never has a problem when Newsweek is offering its long, adoring profiles to Barack or Michelle Obama. But Palin-boosting is corrupt, since it promotes the corrupt conservatives.
It is very enjoyable watching her make liberals heads explode isn’t it? I think the last person to drive the media this bat-crazy was Ronald Reagan.
