The Pro Football Hall of Fame didn't allow Sydney Seau to speak at the ceremony in honor of her father Junior Seau. Here's the speech she would have given.
When I lived in San Diego for a short time in 1993, I went that summer to the San Diego Chargers training camp in La Jolla. After practice on the day I went, while many other players left the field, Junior Seau spent what seemed like an hour or so signing autographs. That tells you the type of person he was. R.I.P. Junior.
Interesting fact of the day that Junior Seau is the 8th Charger from the 1994 Super Bowl team to die before the age of 45.
