For the first quarter of 2019-2020 school year, my son Samuel Hernly earned the Honor Roll at George Washington Middle School. So proud of our dude!
Here is Samuel Hernly’s 2019 Christmas portrait with Santa Claus. When I look at these photos each year, it really reminds me that it’s true what they say – time really does fly by with your kids.
My son Samuel took part in the Fall 2019 Potomac Kempo Capitol Tourney. While he didn’t medal, he had a great time competing against fellow martial arts peeps from all of the dojos.
Here is Samuel Hernly’s 2017 Christmas portrait with Santa Claus. When I look at these photos each year, it really reminds me that it’s true what they say – time really does fly by with your kids. Sam has really come a long way since one of his early Santa photos where he was filmed screaming in fear (sorry Sam) and I love seeing him blossom into the young man he is today.
Sam Hernly got to see his cousin Jordan Hernly last night for the first time in a while. She’s doing great things in her life and learning a lot as a freshman at Western Carolina University.
Last month, my daughter Kat came for a visit. I took Sam and Kat to Kings Dominion for the day. What a great time we had. While most kids were on spring break, we had a great time and felt like we had the park mostly to ourselves.
My son Samuel Hernly received his purple belt with black stripe at Potomac Kempo on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Well done Sam!
