As you may or may not know, U2 is touring to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their The Joshua Tree album. On Wednesday, they stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live and surprised the audience with a stirring rendition of ‘I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’.
From 2002, IMHO, the best halftime show of the last couple of decades.
As part of my top 10 favorite Christmas music videos here in 2013, here’s my #1 – U2’s cover of the Phil Spector/Darlene Love Christmas classic. I was leaning strongly toward this Martina McBride/Elvis Presley duet but, I couldn’t go against a song that benefits the 1987 Special Olympics album A Very Special Christmas.
U2’s Go Home. Live From Slane Castle Ireland. Here’s ‘Where the Streets Have No Name’. There’s only one way to listen to it and that is with the sound turned way up.
U2 and the Harlem Gospel Choir perform ‘I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For’ together as a gospel song in this video from the Rattle & Hum DVD.
