Drunk Illegal Hits Massachusetts Lawmaker’s Car

A drunk illegal immigrant with a blood alchohol content of .25, hit a Massachusetts lawmakers car. Will he be facing deportation? No. This is what happens when you create a sanctuary state or City like Alexandria, VA where I live.

MyFoxBoston.com reports:

A state lawmaker was rear-ended by a suspected illegal immigrant last Thursday.

Now, State Rep. Mike Moran, of Brighton, is talking about the crash involving Isaias Naranjo.

The 27-year-old suspect was reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol and did not have a valid license.

Police say when Naranjo was told of the serious charges he would be facing, he just laughed.

State police were unable to notify immigration authorities that Naranjo might be illegal. due to a 2007 order that strips them of immigration enforcement powers.

It’s been talked about that illegal immigrants are fleeing Arizona. Where are they going? To sanctuary places like Massachusetts and my hometown of Alexandria, VA.

iPad + Velcro = AWESOME!

Jesse Rosten, a filmaker from Northern California, has a really cool video up on Vimeo where he wonders what if two of mankind’s greatest inventions, the iPad and velcro, got together. What would happen? Jesse’s Note: this is an exploration of what is possible, not necessarily what is practical. Tweet from the street at your own risk!

This sooo makes me want an iPad even more.

Obama Poll Numbers – Now At 44%

Hmm, 71% of voters support the Arizona immigration law, 63% favor a complete repeal of health care. President Obama’s seems to be on the wrong side of the issues.

Rasmussen has the numbers:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -18 (see trends).

Following passage of health care, enthusiasm for the president among Democrats soared. Today, however, just 49% of Democrats Strongly Approve of Obama’s performance. That’s down from a high of 65%. It remains to be seen whether this is a temporary aberration or the beginning of a lasting change.

Sixty-three percent (63%) of voters nationwide favor repeal of the health care law. That’s the highest level of support for repeal yet measured.

Hope and change baby. Hope and change.

It’s Official: New Jersey Becomes Greece (Video)

New Jersey owns one of the largest tax burdens in the country because of pensions and benefits for public sector employees. Governor Chris Christie has been working hard to try and get the State of New Jersey’s massive entitlement problem under control. However, the unions are fighting back. For example, tens of thousands of union activists and radical leftists marched Sunday at the New Jersey State Capital to demand their extravagant pay checks and benefits.

MyFoxPhilly reported:

The governor has called for workers to accept wage freezes and pushed for them to contribute toward their health benefits.

It appeared to be a day of food, fun and festivities, but chants of “we are not the problem” made it quickly evident this was no Saturday picnic.

But protestors were quick to point out there was a reason for the rally. Barbara Keshishian is the President of the New Jersey Education Association. She told the crowd “there is a time to fight and that time has now come.”

With signs in hand and voices at the ready, tens of thousands of public workers had a message for Governor Christie.

Teacher Stefanie Osmand said “we want to see some changes.” Her position was just cut to part-time after her district turned down the school budget. Many of her colleagues say the governor is arrogant and destructive. And his policies are spreading misinformation to voters.

Teacher Cate Seawall claims the Governor is “lying.”

This is exactly the same reason the folks in Greece have been protesting for sometime now. The hard left of the Democratic party has always known that once you get the people addicted to free this, free that, sweet deals, and easy living, they will riot before they will go back to taking care of themselves and working for a living.

Identity Theft Goes Corporate (Video)

Here’s an alarming video for business owners everywhere. This one comes from Fox TV in Atlanta, GA.

We have all heard about how devastating it is when you are a victim of identity theft. A FOX 5 I-Team investigation found a new problem of corporate identity theft.

The investigation found criminals who have taken advantage of what some call a security flaw at the Secretary of State’s website.

There are nearly 700,000 companies on file with the Secretary of State.

If you have one, you need to know that police say some identity thieves are not after your name, but your company.
