In the last six months, more jobs were created than Bush was able to generate in eight years.
All one has to do is spend a few minutes Googling the information to find out that the above statement is simply not true. From the Bureau of Labor Statistics:
Even if you judge the Obama Administration and the Democrats in power based solely on the graphic on the right, that is NOT something I would call a ‘success.’
President Bush was a big spender himself but, his Administration did create 3 million new jobs during his eight years in office. Under President Obama, the economy has lost 2.6 million + jobs since the Recovery Act was passed, 4.4 million since the President was elected in 2008.
That’s not what I would call a success, and that’s definitely NOT better than what President Bush accomplished. These figures are more like what President Herbert Hoover accomplished.
