I just LOVE these videos on Welcome Home Blog.

Via Fox News Insider, in this video, U.S. Marine and father of six, Staff Sgt. Jeremy Cooney and his wife were told their son Michael, who has cerebral palsy, would never be able to do much on his own. But while Cooney was serving in Afghanistan for seven months, Michael proved everyone wrong by learning to walk. Watch what happens in this heartwarming homecoming.

Staff Sgt. Cooney’s wife writes:

When my husband left on his deployment, our 6-year-old son could not walk on his own. He has cerebral palsy. Doctors originally said that he would never walk or do much of anything. While daddy was away, he learned to walk. For his homecoming, we set it up for Michael to walk to his daddy for the first time ever! We kept the fact that he could walk a secret the whole time his dad was gone!

Oorah! Thank you for your service Marine and well done Michael!
