On National Medal of Honor Day, this is some great commentary from retired Army Major Drew Dix that reminds us there’s a hero in everyone. This is a great read and well worth a few minutes.

The Congressional Medal of Honor Society honored Citizen Heroes over the weekend and has more information on the medal and its recipients.

March For Our Lives Protesters Can’t Describe an ‘Assault’ Weapon

Via Campus Reform, Cabot Phillips asked young people who went to the March For Our Lives rally in Washington, D.C. what an ‘assault weapon’ is. They literally had absolutely no idea.

As Senator Marco Rubio noted, to effectively ban ‘assault’ weapons, “you would literally have to ban every semiautomatic rifle that’s sold in America.”

And that will never happen.

Happy 104th Birthday Norman Borlaug (Video)

Agronomist Norman Borlaug would have been 104 years old today. The Nobel Peace Prize winner saved over a billion people from starvation (mainly in India & Pakistan in the 1960s). Yes, that’s a “b” for “billion.”

In one of my favorite moments from the West Wing (see above), they took a moment to mention Mr. Borlaug.
