In the final Spring Training game from Florida, the Washington Nationals Stephen Strasburg struck out 10 and allowed 2 runs in 5 2/3 innings in a 4-2 win over the Cardinals.

Agronomist Norman Borlaug would have been 104 years old today. The Nobel Peace Prize winner saved over a billion people from starvation (mainly in India & Pakistan in the 1960s). Yes, that’s a “b” for “billion.”
